Assistant Games Manager - Thorpe Park

Founded in 1927, HB Leisure is today the world leader in the operation of midway games and family arcades, present in over 80 locations, across 20 Countries. 

We are now seeking a passionate Assistant Games Manager to assist in the management of the skilled games at Thorpe Park.

You will join the current management team in ensuring a great experience for our customers to have lots of fun during their visit to Thorpe Park. You will assist to lead and motivate your team to continually promote a good working environment.

Assistant Games Managers are responsible for:

  • Assisting the Games Manager with the day to day operations of our Games inside THORPE PARK.
  • Assisting with maintaining a safe work environment for our team members
  • Assisting with the recruiting and training a highly-motivated team to reach daily sales targets
  • Providing world-class guest service to our park guests in THORPE PARK.

 

Applicants must:

  • Have great guest service and communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality
  • Be willing to learn the art of sales and motivated to reach daily sales targets
  • Be honest, reliable, responsible individuals with a strong work ethic
  • Be able to demonstrate a high-level of attention to detail
  • Be available full time. Including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be able to lift 20lbs and be able to stand for up to 8 hours (or more if given/qualified for over-time hours)
  • Be able to stay productive during slower business hours and when working alone
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Be able to follow instructions and comply with ALL company standards.
  • Experience in amusement games at supervisor level,.
  • Team management or supervisor skills.
  • You will be self-directed and highly motivated.
  • Technical machine knowledge would be a distinct advantage.

 

Experience:

  • No previous managerial experience required
  • Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
