Role Summary
  • Reporting to the Head of People Operations you will be responsible for the successful administration and provision of all Food and Drink at Wimbledon Staff and supplier accreditation for The Championships
  • Management of year-round passes and on-site access year-round.
  • To build and maintain close working relationships with F&D staff, external individuals e.g. agencies, suppliers and contractors involved in the delivery of the Catering Operation at Wimbledon, accreditation will be issued in accordance with the AELTC Accreditation Process and strict timelines.

Role Responsibilities & duties
  • Rapidly build up knowledge of accreditation requirements through communication with AELTC Accreditation Department (ACPO) and FD Senior Team.
  • Confirm agreed timeline for accreditation and keep senior colleagues updated with progress, including reminders to heads of department to keep on track to meet deadlines
  • Build and develop F&D accreditation database using the AELTC's established accreditation system. Liaise with AELTC Accreditation Department to ensure integrity of the database.
  • Coordinate the accurate and timely process of application, photo submission, accreditation approval, production, and distribution of accreditation for FD staff, agency staff, contractors, suppliers, and visitors.
  • Take responsibility for capturing digital photo records, updating application forms and other related documentation to support the accreditation operation. Adhere to and educate all operational groups on the accreditation timelines and processes.
  • Attend relevant Championships planning and evaluation meetings as and when required.
  • Work with AELTC and Carlisle security to ensure successful operation at venue entrances, ensuring that specific high-security areas such as members, royal box, media, broadcast, and competitor's zones are identified, and staff access is managed appropriately through accreditation codes.​
  • Support the People Operations Team with any other Championships administration as required.
  • During Championships respond to all enquiries regarding accreditation, including visitors accreditation requests, lost passes, and additional entry requirements.

Essential
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities, projects, and relationships
  • Flexible approach - occasional work will be required on weekends
  • Experience in media or sports event operations preferable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven project, account and business management skills, and a working knowledge of standard office software packages and tools
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines and manage high workloads via effective time management and use of resources
  • Evidence of ability to apply a clear, logical and coherent approach to complex issues, working collaboratively to develop and implement recommendations for action
  • Able to work unsociable hours including weekends during the spring and summer season
  • Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with internal and external client groups
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Highly numerate, good IT skills, detail-conscious and well-organised.
  • Able to operate with discretion when managing personal data maintaining respect for privacy
