Production Planner

What you'll be doing:
We're currently recruiting a dedicated Production Planner to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Oneon a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

The Cuisine Centre is a small manufacturing arm of healthcare & defence with two factories making the Steamplicity brand of products.

We're looking to expand the planning team in anticipation of our expected growth ambitions.
More about the role:

• To produce the daily production plan for a busy food manufacturing site.
• Responsible for Materials planning to ensure the requirements of the factory are met whilst maintaining an appropriate level of stock holding
• waste minimisation.
• Maintain planning spreadsheets and sales systems.
• Provide operational support to the production function.
• Occasionally customer facing and sympathetic to the changing customer needs.

What we'll give:

£35000 per annum/ 40 hours per week

Hybrid working

Monday to Friday with occassional weekend

Full training will be given
Who you are:
Essential

• Clear & concise communication
• Maths to a high standard (GCSE 5)
• Good under shorts periods of pressure
• Eager to learn with an appetite to succeed
• Results driven
• Planning experience in any capacity
• Customer facing or supplier facing experience
• Stock counting and reconciliation

Desirable

• Above average IT Skills
• Good Excel knowledge
• Demonstrate problem solving ability

Advantageous

• Worked in a FMCG or food manufacture would be advantageous
• Can demonstrate commercial awareness
• Understand budgetary requirements and P&L
• Coding in VBA or other high level language
