Who you are:
Our Ideal Sales Finance Analyst will have:

Essential
  • You will have a qualification in ACA, CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent), and a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience, with high numeric and analytical skills,
  • Advanced Excel and modelling skills including Index, Match, Sumif, Sumifs, Countif, Countifs, Array formulas String functions, Power Pivot, Pivot tables, charting, advanced conditional formatting,
  • Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate information
  • Well-developed critical thinking and problem solving with an ability to clearly present outcomes and influence stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness and capability including ability to understand scenario planning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence internal and external parties
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise own work
  • Ability to take on a broad spectrum of work under pressure and to deliver in agreed timescales
  • A team player but with the ability to work on own initiative

Desirable Attributes
  • Knowledge SAP / Cognos (in-house Compass Group system)

What you'll be doing:
Our market leading Sales and Retention team are searching for an ambitious Sales Finance Analystto support our UK Defence,Government and Energy sector - ESS.

You will work from our Birmingham office two to three days per week, with the added flexibility to also work from home. Travel to other offices and site visits will be required.

This will be an influential and high-profile role. You will be involved in the project management of the entire saleslifecycle. This will include providingfinancial support to the Sector Business Development Teams, supporting full costing, data analysis,working across all functions to ensure the financial offer is accurate, maximised and fully understood.You will need to demonstratean understanding/apply the relevant finance concepts to all commercial bids.
