Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship

As a Hospitality Team Member, you’ll help us maintain excellent standards of customer service, optimise all opportunities to generate income and know how to perform basic food processing tasks. You are required to attend and actively engage in all practical and formal training elements of the apprenticeship. You will also support the development of events, sharing ideas and help shape the customer experience at Marble Hill. Through direct experience on site and under the mentorship of the Catering Manager you will learn: Customers- Recognise customer profiles in hospitality and how customers have different needs. Business - Know the business vision and values People - Understand the importance of using appropriate methods of communication that are suitable for different situations and individuals’ needs in a variety of hospitality contexts Hospitality team members must also select a specialist function – Food and beverage service or food production. The most important part of the role is developing fantastic ‘hospitality’ skills and knowledge such as recognising customer needs, knowing how to match them to the products and services of the business and working as part of a team to ensure that every customer feels welcomed and looked after. Training: You will be assigned a designated Trainer by HIT who will visit you and your line manager bi-monthly at your workplace throughout the apprenticeship. On alternate months, the HIT Trainer will be in contact to coach, mentor and discuss progress.
The role is full-time, 36 hours per week
The successful candidate will be required to work weekends
Shift times: earliest start time will be 7am and the latest finish time will be 6:30pm
The apprenticeship will run for 12 months
