Position advertised is for Commis Chef, dependant on experience and Qualification in industry Chef De Partie Level 3 qualification available

Chef De Partie

Understand the key points of food prep., seasoning & storage

Demonstrate key cooking methods

Present a sound grasp of the principles of food safety

Have a proven track record of working in a commercial kitchen, managing their own workload to meet deadlines, and maintain quality of their products

Show competence in maintaining appropriate stock levels for all sections worked; implementing stock rotation and waste avoidance

Have their own transport / or be able to arrange this before starting

Have a healthy lifestyle outside of work, and have long term aspirations of personal and professional development for themselves and the wider team

Commis Chef

Some previous experience of working within a commercial kitchen would be an advantage but you must have a passion to learn and work as part of a busy team.

You will learn How to work with and prepare all food groups.

Learn and follow all Food Safety and Health and Safety Regulations

Follow recipes and learn to produce dishes to a consistant standard.

Follow direction and leadership of the senior chefs

Excellent communication skills

Takes pride in their work
