As our Assistant People Operations Manager, you will provide a proactive venue-based workforce management operation that creates the Levy difference by Legendary Experiences through Powerful Partnerships.
You will be responsible for the overall delivery of the People Operations function within the venue, liaising with the senior management team to deliver best practice to drive change and constantly deliver business objectives.
You remit as our Assistant People Operations Manager is to provide strong leadership whilst delivering and managing the People Operations function, whilst ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of a first-class service to the internal customer base and all customers within the venue. Youwill ensure that all colleagues are recruited and trained to Levy standards to deliver a 5-star service to all our guests.
5 days per week (40-hour week), Mon-Sun rota-based shifts to cover all event check in and check out times.

More about the role:
- Managethe overall delivery of the variable staffing solution at the venue and for liaising with the senior management team to deliver best practice to drive change and constantly deliver business objectives
- Guide the team delivering and managing the People Operations function and working with the Levy UK team to support any technical initiatives launched at SEC Food
- Ensure the smooth planning and delivery of a first-class service to the internal customer base and all customers within the venue
- Work alongside the People Operations Manager to ensure there is a commitment to staff welfare and adherence to employment law
- Work closely with account managers to ensure that the labour costs are controlled.
- Support the Conference and events and match day functions
- Support the HR Manager and People Operations Manager with the overall strategy behind our HR management
- Support the recruitment of large variable team members for the business
- Effectively communicatethe Levy UK culture to all employees within the venue
- Participatewith team meetings within the People Operations and wider teams
- Attend regular meetings with all HOD's to discuss variable staffing requirements
- Interact effectively across a diverse client base both direct and third party
- Work across operational functions to support and drive 5-star performance
- Previous management experience in events/hospitality and/or staffing and people operations
- Min 1 years' working as Senior Staffing Officer or Assistant Manager in a demanding fast paced environment
- Previous experience of working in an HR/staffing environment
- Previous work experience within the hospitality industry (desirable)
- Commercial experience in a fast paced, high volume variable labour environment (desirable)
- Good people skills, leadership, and organizational skills
- A positive attitude and friendly approach
- Driven by innovation, excellent standards and a passion for excellent customer service
- Awareness of recruitment market and key competitors
- Experience of working with a client group (preferred)
- Proficient in various IT systems including Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook and Workforce Management systems, with a positive approach to using systems and technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Engaging, enthusiastic, sociable, and motivated with a ‘can do' attitude
