Public House Operations Manager – Purple Moose Brewery
Purple Moose Brewery is looking for a skilled and motivated people manager with at least three years of experience in a hospitality setting to manage our two pubs in Porthmadog. Applicants must have a strong passion for cask and craft beer as well as an ability to provide outstanding customer service in a hands-on role. They will take the lead on all day-to-day operations across the two sites in the town as well as working shifts behind the bar. This job opportunity comes at an exciting time for Purple Moose Brewery as we look to expand our offering and operations. We have recently taken the opportunity to operate a second pub, making this role necessary. If you feel you would thrive in this position and help take the company forward, we would love to hear from you.
Our Company
Purple Moose Brewery is based in the historic harbour town of Porthmadog, North Wales. Our multi award-winning beers are brewed with love and passion using entirely UK malted barley and water from the hills of Eryri (Snowdonia). Famous for their exceptional taste and quality, we’re proud to say that our beers have won well over 100 awards.
To enhance our visitor experience, we own and run a brewery tap based in Porthmadog, The Australia. Here we showcase our range of cask, keg and bottled beers as well as offering delicious food with a great atmosphere in a recently refurbished setting. We now add to this The Station Inn, at the other end of the town, which is an entirely wet-led public house and very popular with local customers.
You’ll join our friendly and passionate team at a time of rapid growth, as we plan to significantly invest in developing the first floor of The Australia and make improvements at The Station. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to bring ideas to the table and help formulate plans to ensure we can continue to serve our legendary ales brewed in Wales to even more locals and visitors to the area!
