What you'll be doing:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Chartwells Independent, leading caterers to the education sector, within one of our prestigious Boarding Houseswhich cater for up to 60 pupils.

Join our forward thinking, innovative team to deliver a fresh, seasonal menu using the best available ingredients.

Within your role you would be expected to.
  • Deliver food to a consistently high standard, set out the Executive Chef

Manage all aspects of the kitchen operation with regard to;
  • Creating weekly menus to provide a varied and seasonal Breakfast, Lunch & Supper offer
  • Food safety management
  • H&S management
  • Staff management including training & development for up to 6 staff members
  • Stock ordering and management
  • Stock taking


Manage yourself, kitchen and team members around a 5 day out of 7 rota

Includes evening and weekend work, with regular weekends off.
