An exciting opportunity has arisen for a keen apprentice to join the kitchen team at The Belgrave Rooms, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.
Duties include:
Preparing ingredients throughout the day for use in service
Keeping station clean, tidy and organised to promote a seamless service
Cooking meals from the menu using various cooking methods
Plating up and presenting food to the Senior Chef's required standard
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Cleaning and washing down the kitchen and stations at the end of service
Learning and developing personal skills through your apprenticeship and on the job training in order to become a skilled chef

Skills Required

Good time keeping
Ability to take instruction
Ability to prioritise and manage workload

Personal Qualities

Genuine interest in pursuing a career as a Chef
Able to take feedback and constructive criticism

Qualifications Required

Previous experience and skills in the Catering field would be an advantage.
Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.

Future Prospects

To progress to Chef de Partie role or Senior Production role

Working Week

40 hours per week, Mon - Sun shifts 9.00 - 21.00
