Seasonal Team Members - YHA Eden Project

Two of the countries biggest and best charities have joined forces and  are looking for you to come and join our team. YHA and Eden project have joined forces to create an incredible glamping experience within the grounds of the Eden Project.  

YHA Eden project have a variety of contracts available, various hours to suit throughout April, May, June, July and August.

YHA and Eden project have worked together now for a number of years and 2023 will be no different.  We are looking energetic, enthusiastic people who want to join us and make a real difference to our guests.  Whether you are a people person who just loves interaction with others, a detail person who will spot every little mark and blemish and ensure that everything is spotless, are you a hands on person who just loves to get stuck into catering and serving.  Whatever sort of person you are we have an opportunity for you.

  • We pay £9.50 per hour - rising to £10.42 from 1st March 2023 (this role is flexible, anywhere from 1 hours per week to 40 hours contract are available to suit all)

Here are just some of the tasks you may carry out as a Seasonal Team Member (you may cover some or all of these tasks our roles can vary)!

  • working on reception, providing information about the hostel and local area
  • carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties
  • preparing food in the kitchen
  • serving food and drinks front of house

What Skills and Experience do you need to be a Seasonal Team Member?

We value lived experience just as much as previous skills and knowledge.We offer a robust induction, ongoing training, and further development, however, some of our roles will have further skills requirements.It’s an advantage but not essential that our team members have experience volunteering or working with other people.

Duties vary so good communication skills and basic IT skills are advantageous. Excellent time keeping is essential.
