Papilio is an independent gift and coffee shop in the heart of Thornbury. They pride themself on their homemade food and excellent customer service. They aim to be accessible and welcoming to all ages.
A great opportunity has arisen at Papilio Coffee Shop for a keen apprentice to join the team, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Qualification.
Duties to include:
- Working with the owners and other colleagues to ensure that the shop is run profitably and efficiently and that customers have the best experience possible
- Customer Service
. Making professional coffee and loose leaf teas
. taking orders, serving food and up-selling products where possible
. handling money
. handling customer complaints and enquiries
. cleaning and tidying of coffee shop and garden
- Food
. held ensure consistent excellence in food and drink served
. assistance in kitchen required with baking and cooking lunches
. assistance in receiving food and drink deliveries including taking products to first floor store
. helping with menu planning and development
. opportunities to try out cooking different types of food for evening events

Qualifications Required

GCSE Level C/4 or above in Maths and English are desirable, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.

Continued employment and possibility of doing further apprenticeship levels

Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship Level 2
