Detailed Job Description

The Holly Bush, is situated just off the A435, Junction 3, M42, down a quiet and peaceful Gorcott Hill. They are a family friendly Pub that also offers dining, sourcing local fresh produce wherever they can.
The Holly Bush are looking for an enthusiastic, committed individual with a desire to develop and succeed. Able to work under pressure, you must also be able to resolve any customer complaints to achieve a satisfactory outcome. You’ll also ensure high standards of cleanliness whilst ensuring at all times that legal requirements are strictly adhered to. You must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Our Apprenticeships: The Apprenticeships last for a minimum of 12-18 months and will enable you to develop through a structured training programme. As an Apprentice with The Holly Bush, you will gain a nationally recognised qualification, giving you an ideal grounding for a career in the hospitality industry.
Learning is all on-site, so there is no need for Apprentices to attend college, and Apprentices are all paid national minimum wage, which is above the standard Apprentice rate. Throughout your Apprenticeship you will be supported by your Head Chef & Sous Chef and ourselves as your apprenticeship provider too, so you will be given all the help and advice you need to succeed.
Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
