General Manager @ The Beer House, Glasgow Central Railway Station

At SSP UK we now are recruiting for a talented and experienced General Manager to lead our team at The Beer House at Glasgow Central Railway Station

We are the leading operator of restaurants, bars, cafes and food courts in travel locations. Established for more than 60 years, our operations feature a mix of food and beverage brands tailored specifically for each location. You will be joining a world-leading food service organisation with superb learning, development and progression opportunities, operating over 400 stores in the UK alone. 

We are looking for a committed and driven General Manager, who is passionate about delivering consistently outstanding customer service and standards within a high-volume, branded wet-led bar environment, and can coach and develop the team to be our stars of the future.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Previous proven experience of bar and restaurant management within a high volume and fast paced similar environment
  • Strong people management skills to lead, motivate and develop your team
  • Proven track record of maintaining efficient bar service with an emphasis on standards and customer service
  • Previous experience of the financial controls required when running a unit - P&L, GP, labour and waste controls, driving sales, speed of service and ATV
