The opportunity

We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to help lead our Housekeeping Team to success. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the day to day running of the Housekeeping Department.

Some of the specific tasks include:

  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities of Housekeeping and Laundry.
  • Close out house at the end of shift to ensure assigned rooms were cleaned, and communicate issues to next shift.
  • Communicate additions or changes to the room assignments to Housekeeping staff as they arise throughout the shift.
  • Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff.
  • Coordinate VIP service to ensure VIP's needs are met throughout the stay.
  • Record, monitor, and update list of ‘Do Not Disturb' rooms.
  • Assign rush rooms and rooms previously on the ‘Do Not Disturb' list to Housekeepers as they occur.
  • Communicate with Housekeepers throughout the day to ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.

You will be working with a very dynamic Housekeeping Team who are fully committed to providing the best possible service to all or guests.

The perfect person

Ideally, we are looking for a well-rounded Housekeeping Supervisor, with a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar size & style Five Star hotel environment.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong Housekeeping background.

As Housekeeping Supervisor you will have a hands-on approach and take a proactive role with managers to deliver the highest possible standards in our Housekeeping Department.

  • Ideally have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
