More about the role:
Main duties and responsibilities
  • Implement an annual marketing strategy and calendar which includes food and beverage campaigns and retail promotions, based on insight, high street trends and commercial data, supported by creative development of consumer communications and POS
  • Lead the development of Operator communications and playbooks which make execution easy, and track implementation
  • Lead and monitor our customer satisfaction tool using results to improve our offer, service and monitor impact
  • Be visible in our business contracts, supporting site teams on the ground with marketing implementation and brand execution standards
  • Work with finance to develop business cases and measure impact, evaluating success and proactively sharing learnings
  • To demonstrate a clear understanding of the need to marry governmental legislation in the Healthcare sector and commercial considerations
  • Work with Procurement to identify opportunities to improve commercial performance through supplier funding & other support
  • Supporting an SEO strategy for our website
  • Supporting our patient catering offer with all marketing requirements
  • Working closely with external marketing agencies to co-ordinate marketing campaigns, artwork and print requirements
  • Understand and utilise relevant industry insights
Who you are:
  • Experience in end to end the development of retail campaigns
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Use of social media channels to aid communications
  • Collaborative approach with an ability to drive and inspire wider organisational engagement to get programmes implemented
  • Highly commercial and numerate
  • Evidence of participating in cross functional collaboration
  • Pragmatic and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Digital Marketing and SEO experience is desirable
  • 3+ years experience in Marketing role
  • Full UK Driving Licence - travel will be required

What you'll be doing:
Medirest have a dynamic Marketing team whose purpose and mission are to support the business in driving growth and deliver a marketing strategy across multiple services including catering, domestics, patient feeding and other FM support services within the sector. Working on multiple projects at any one point, you will need to be the frontline of the marketing team, working closely with the Marketing Executive and reporting into the Head of Marketing. You will be communicating at all levels with various stakeholders, internal senior team, clients, on site teams and external marketing agencies.
