Seasonal Hospitality Team Member - YHA Snowdon Pen-y-pass
YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass are looking to recruit 6 Seasonal Team Members for 25-42.5 hours per week throughout the months of March, April, May, June, July, August, September and October.
Our Hostel is placed at the foot of Snowdon Mountain and is surrounded by stunning Welsh landscape in a rural location, with no mobile phone signal - offering people a break from technology. At over 1,182 feet above sea level, this former mountain lodge is ideally located for trails up Snowdon, so if you like the great outdoors and love to climb then we are a place that has it on our doorstep.

- We pay £9.50 per hour - rising to £10.42 from 1st March 2023 (this role is flexible, 25 hours per week, temporary contract)

What will you be doing as a Seasonal Team Member?
working on reception, providing information about the hostel and local area
carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties
preparing food in the kitchen
serving food and drinks front of house
What Skills and Experience do you need to be a Seasonal Team Member?
We value lived experience just as much as previous skills and knowledge. We offer a robust induction, ongoing training, and further development, however, some of our roles will have further skills requirements.It’s an advantage but not essential that our team members have experience volunteering or working with other people.
Duties vary so good communication skills and basic IT skills are advantageous. Excellent time keeping is essential.
