An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and passionate General Manager at the Lansdowne Arms located in the picturesque village of Derry Hill, sat on the doorstep of the gorgeous Bowood Estate.

The Lansdowne Arms is a landmark pub, with an elevated position on the edge of the Bowood House Estate.  A stunning building with incredible views across Wiltshire. The pub is famous for its freshly cooked food and the full range of Wadworth beers. It has a very strong following from the locals as well as catering for visitors to the area. The extensive garden shows off the location and includes a heated stretch tent.

As General Manager you will take accountability for the smooth and successful running of this pub. In this rewarding role you will demonstrate leadership and professionalism; have the ambition and enthusiasm to drive the business forward.  You will be responsible for building and leading a successful team to ensure outstanding customer service is always delivered.

• Being an inspiring leader- who leads by example and can engage, excite and communicate clearly to your team to ensure they enjoy their work and deliver outstanding service to all your customers.
• Being organised- with the ability to organise your own time, to manage the priorities of the business and run a great managed pub.

• Build a great team- the ability to attract, recruit, train and develop your team
