Working alongside the senior kitchen team your role as an apprentice chef will involve (but not limited to):Vegetable Preparation Dish preparation and presentationAssistance to Senior chefs with meal preparation for up to 900 pupils and staff each dayAlso assist senior chefs for preparation for events: - fine dining, buffets and banqueting for up to 300 people in our Events AuditoriumWorking in a safe mannerDeveloping your apprenticeship recipe log to cover all of the culinary range such as stocks, sauces, vegetable protein, desserts and much more Kitchen opening 8.00 – 4.30pm with shifts falling into this. Apprentices will always be on shift with a more senior member of the team to have the opportunity for training at any time.Fantastic opportunity to work within a large company, room to develop and progress.
