Food and beverage service – we operate table service.
Knowledge of menu and daily specials.
Use communication skills to promote products Work with front of house team members on new hot and cold beverages
Work with back of house team members on new food ideas.
Use of till and card machine - Payments either by card or cash.
Barista – Learn the different types of coffee & how to make them. Storage of beans, grinding of beans, temperature of milk, correct serving equipment.
Knowledge of food allergies and where to find the information.
Stock control & wastage.
Basic food preparation – salads, sandwiches and cakes.
Tasks also include the maintenance of Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures/ systems.
