Your duties will include:Assist in the preparation and cooking of all dishes to include lunch, dinner and also our very popular take-away service which has developed over the COVID lockdown.Assist in clear down, including washing up and cleaning, you will be responsible for ensuring our food preparation and holding areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.Maintain the highest hygiene standardsAdhere to company policies and procedures and licensing lawsYou will receive a full induction into the work place, training on the job .
Apprentices will be working towards achievement of the following:
Certification of Commis Chef Apprenticeship standard
You must be an excellent time keeper, be willing to work hard and well as part of a team. You need to be able to remain calm during busy periods and work with confidence. With this role the right candidate will progress to running the lunch time kitchen with an assistant where they will encouraged to be creative and explore their own signature dishes and be responsible for the entire lunchtime service. Must be willing to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required.
