Receptionist - Live in available

    The main purpose of the receptionist is to provide a point of contact for customer, ensuring excellent care and maintaining satisfaction. You will deal with customer arrival, stay and departure respecting our brand concept and will carry out the reception schedule according to the arrival. You will be responsible for security control, ensure proper customer billing and balancing of customer payment. In the interest of quality and customer satisfaction, you will master our product in order to advise customer and make additional sales. You will handle hotel and restaurant reservation

  • Main tasks:

  • Group Standards: Carry out the role of receptionist where required. Implement & respect chain's SOP. Implement corrective action after guest review, mystery visit and complaint letter
  • Finance: Invoice contracted company. Invoice individual guest. Manage cash handling. Control Cash. Run End of day reports. Chase debtor
  • Sales: Participate in the up sell / cross sell. 
  • Security: Participate in the opening and closing of the department.
  • Safety: Ensure guest safety
  • Reception & Reservation: Participate in the departmental administrative tasks. Manage hotel's booking channels. - Rates & availability. Handle individual reservation. Reservation / Cancellation / Modification. Execute check in. Prepare guest arrival. - Handle overbooking situation. Welcome the guest. Follow up registration procedure. Provide Service to the guest. Provide information about the stay. Deal with guest comments. Execute check out. 
  • Housekeeping: Deal with guest laundry
  • Restaurant & Banqueting: Prepare the meeting room & coffee break

 

Schedule:

8 hour shift AM / PM / Day shift Weekend availability

Campanile Dartford is a 125 bedroom hotel and restaurant part of a Campanile hotel chain, with 2 meeting rooms. Campanile is part of Louvre Hotels Group. Please see our company profile for more information. 

Our hotel is open 7 days a week 365 days per year, so we can offer flexibility to employees with various shift patterns.

 

The right fit:  Ideal candidate should demonstrate the following qualities: 

Experience: Prior experience (1 year) in a branded environment in the customer facing environment would be preferred

Expertise: Confident with Microsoft office Knowing of PMS (e.g.: opera) is strongly advised Knowledge of health & safety procedures (useful) Ability to understand & follow guidelines Conversational English mandatory Additional language is a plus
