Bar Manager

The Bar Manager at Lightroom sits within the Front of House management structure, reporting directly to the Venue Manager. This role takes responsibility for being the most senior member of the bar operations team and will involve direct line management of a pool of casual staff who work across the bar and front of house operation.

The day-to-day role will ensure that the bar is able to function to the full service needs whilst continuing to be adaptable to different audience demographics, whilst complying with the health and safety requirements of the building.

The Bar Manager will take responsibility for ensuring the bar teams are up to date on all necessary training and are meeting required compliancy markers. The role will work alongside the Venue Manager and FOH Head’s of Departments in order ensure consistency across staffing and reporting.

This role will suit someone who has experience of managing a busy operation with a large team but who wants to be part of creating a culture for their workforce and establishing open communication as we embark on a new venture collaboratively.

The Bar Manager will lead in setting the tone and quality of customer service and ensuring an offer that is warm, attentive and efficient.

The bar of the Lightroom is open to the public and ticket holders throughout the day and evening, serving coffees, teas, drinks and snacks. We work in collaboration with iconic London restaurant St. John and will be selling their wine alongside their signature doughnuts and madeleines, freshly baked to order.
