The Unicorn is a historic 14th century pub boasting heritage and charm located in the delightful market town in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees. With its high street location, the pub has a well-established trade from locals as well as those who pass by for the welcoming environment and refreshing drinks. The pub boasts three internal trading areas, a beer garden to the rear and a trade kitchen.

Stonegate Pub Partners are now looking for an experienced publican who can refresh the current trading offers but still maintain the classic pub feel that the pub is known for. We are willing to invest in this pub with the right publican to enhance the trading areas to boost trade and maximise revenue.

The Unicorn is a fantastic three roomed classic pub which boasts charm and heritage. The pub benefits well from local custom and is also popular as part of the weekend circuit. I am now looking for a publican who is hands on and understands the local market and has a passion for traditional pubs and wants to push this business to the next stage of its long history in the town.

The Unicorn is situated in Norton, a desirable suburb of the larger conurbation of Stockton-on-Tees. The pub is positioned at the star of the high street, next to the popular local park. There is plenty of housing and many shops and businesses nearby which brings plenty of trading opportunities to the pub. Norton is very much an up-and-coming area and has had resurgence in the last few years.
