Avis Hotel Ltd is based in Bromley, greater London. We are looking for an apprentice who has a passion for hospitality. In return you will get training in managing the reception dept.
What will I be doing?
Reception dept duties:
-Greet customers at check-in. You will be the face of the hotel ensuring customers have a warm welcome experience when checking in or if they have queries when staying with us.
-Provide professional level of customer service at all times.
-Take telephone and email bookings, inform guests about room types, prices and hotel facilities
-Maximise room occupancy over the phone and manage online booking queries, get training on booking platforms e.g booking.com and expedia
-Accurately performing all cashiering activities, such as taking all payment upon check-in (cash, debit, or credit card)
-Other admin: including conducting fire safety tests
Kitchen/ Bar duties:
-Take breakfast orders
-Manage bar area serving to guests and managing payments
Required to work shifts that will include weekends
Assisting with other hotel departments maybe required such as Housekeeping, Meetings and Events etc
