The role….

We are looking to appoint a new General Manager within Slug & Lettuce, located in the affluent suburb of Stockton Heath. This Slug and Lettuce is a one bar operation with fantastic areas available for pre-booked sales along with a dedicated Cocktail Masterclass area which is hugely popular with Hen Parties and larger groups. Slug & Lettuce also has an Alfresco license which is perfect for a Cocktail or two. We trade until late on the weekend and we are the go-to place within the town to get together with friends for fantastic Cocktails, ‘Great Food’ and an awesome Atmosphere.

Our ideal General Manager….

We are looking to recruit for an extremely driven General Manager who will be someone who really understands what a quality offer looks like.

As General Manager you will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, deliver consistent food and drink to brand spec, have outstanding operational standards, and a genuine passion for fantastic customer service and fantastic hospitality.

You will be able to drive sales through innovative marketing, maximising the growing pre-booked sales trend and developing reasons to visit by using social media to its’ full potential.

As the General Manager of this business, you will be in-tune, knowledgeable and highly reactive to the local market trends, making it the place to visit for locals and visitors alike. It is essential that you are an inspirational leader with a true belief in recruiting great people, training and coaching them to develop an exceptional team that has a passion for working in hospitality and delighting their guests.

As a General Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team in order to control, develop and improve all aspects of the business including: P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service and brand integrity.
