We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Facilities Managerto work at one of our ESS prestigious contracts in Bristol

As one of our Facilities Managersyou will lead and develop a team to deliver exceptional soft facilities service, the role also involves enhancingthe customer experience by effectively managing the cleaning team, equipment, resources and third-party suppliers ensuring the cleaning/FM operation is in accordance with the client service level agreement and company standards & procedures.

  • To promote a safety culture
  • To ensure the delivery and quality of the FM operation
  • To ensure the Compass policies, procedures and controlled documents are up to date and implemented
  • To ensure the FM team are engaged and managed effectively to achieve their performance targets
  • To manage the labour, equipment & resources budget for the contract in line with company targets
  • To complete rotas, timesheets, wages & other paperwork as required ensuring that cleaning schedules are in line with the requirements of the operation
  • To manage any third-party suppliers or contractors to ensure they meet or exceed the agreed service level agreements e.g. waste, laundry, tailoring, pest control
  • Take overall responsibility for the FM service delivery on all the sites that are assigned to your area of responsibility.
  • To ensure the FM operation continually improves
  • To liaise with the client as appropriate seeking opportunities to improve the FM service delivery
  • To work flexibly and attend off site meetings and training courses as required

Ideal candidate

Our ideal Facilities manager would have:
  • Knowledge of working in a management role within the soft FM service industry
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation
  • Leadership skills and knowledge
  • Good Communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Interpersonal, administrative, and organisational skills
  • IT Literate
  • Able to work flexibly in line with business including attending some off site meetings
  • A 'Can do' attitude
  • Eye for detail
  • Full UK Driving Licence
