The Blue Boar sits in the heart of the picture-postcard village facing the village Green. The green is a key part of the community, it is where all the village events are held, and part of the main route for Aldbourne’s annual carnival. Its outside trading area is located outside the front of the pub and offers views of the village Green and the church. The pub is split into two separate bars, one for drinking and the other for dining both have bar access. The Blue Boar is popular with the villagers and is known as a destination pub with its quintessential 15th century pub atmosphere.
