Baba Ganoush are an award-winning catering team based in the incredible larder of Yorkshire. At the heart of their family-business is a genuine love of great food. From intimate to epic, rustic to formal, they create bespoke menus for weddings and events of all sizes across the North of England.
Baba Ganoush now have a fantastic opportunity for a keen apprentice to join their team, learn the trade and work towards gaining a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.
Baba Ganoush are looking for an individual who has a passion for cooking and working in a fast paced kitchen environment with the highest health and safety standards. Individuals will be training onsite and complete apprenticeship training to develop all skills. Creating bespoke menu items for rusique feasts or fine dining. Prepare, cook and present food with high standards of health and safety.
Duties will include:
• Ingredient preparation
• Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
• Plating up and presentation of food
• Taking instruction from senior chefs
• Cleaning and clearing down work stations
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• Portion control

Qualifications Required

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
