Junior Sous Chef

About us

Galvin Bar & Grill are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join their growing team!

We’re thrilled to announce our brand-new restaurant–Galvin Bar & Grill–with Michelin-Starred brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin and Head Chef Leonid Semakin is now open! Set in our impressive dining room on Guilford Street, the restaurant is the Galvin brothers' take on the modern British grill, focused around ethically and sustainably sourced produce. While rooted in British cooking, the menu is not wedded to traditional dishes, drawing inspiration from other cultures to reflect the diversity of modern Britain. The menu embodies how the Galvin’s would like to see Britain today: ethical, generous and open.

We are offering a competitive salary plus Service Charge and paid overtime!

Our Junior Sous Chefs are accountable for kitchen operation including production, cleanliness and safe systems of work in a single kitchen and deputises in the absence of the Head Chef. You will work alongside the team and ensure the food is received by the guest in a timely manner to the quality expected.

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year for breakfast, lunch & dinner, so you can expect to work a variety of shifts. Our Junior Sous Chefs are offered flexible working hours and regular rotations meaning you will have some weekends and bank holiday off and work some. We put people first, develop skills and harness individual strengths and experience to help them progress within the kitchen. Our teams work collaboratively to support each other, creating a positive culture that enables the whole team to work in a more flexible way.
