General Manager – Union Bank, Wakefield

Salary - £35,000 - £38,000 p.a. + Bonuses

Located near to both train stations, The Union Bank is great “Proper Pub” at the Heart of Wakefield City Centre, that also serves as the Stonegate Northern HUB and Craft Union Head Office above it.

We are looking for a Superstar General Manager to continue the success of this busy City Centre pub

The bar is a large two floor operation boasting the biggest sports viewing screen in Yorkshire. With a great reputation locally for great value food, awesome sports viewing, regular midweek activity to drive a reason to visit, and that all important “Big Weekend feel”.

We are looking for a General Manager who has a real passion for the job that they do!

You will be a hands-on with a passion for delivering retailing excellence, you will be able to demonstrate through proven experience in a similar style / size business how you have driven sales / profit, delivered a strong sports offering whilst ensuring food quality and service as well as guest satisfaction and house standards are always at their highest.

Anthony Lover, our Area Manager is looking to meet up with General Manager who can not only recognise the further potential of the Union Bank but also execute a plan to realise it.

In return, Anthony will support you to ensure you have the tools and autonomy to deliver at all levels.
