Detailed Job Description

Looking for your first step into the industry as a chef? The team at Harbour View are expanding with opportunities to join their kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop in the catering and hospitality industry, learn the trade and work towards gaining a level 2 Production Chef Qualification.
Duties to include
Prepare, cook and present dishes within your section, according to specification
Assist other sections of the kitchen in the production and service of food and the cleaning down of the section as and when required
Be an excellent communicator
Ensure accurate records are kept at all times relating to the food production and wastage, for all service periods.
Ensure that all foods are labelled, stored and handled in accordance with the venue and Health and Safety requirements.

Qualifications Required

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of our interview process

Things to consider

Wage advertised is based on a 30 hour week. Apprentice minimum wage. Hours may increase due to the business needs.
Sunday - Thursday 9am-5pm Friday and Saturday 9am-10pm. Working hours are minimum of 30 over 5 days
