Head Pastry Chef

With 190 bedrooms and multiple function rooms and dining outlets, our Food Production team cater for a wide range of dining experiences from intimate fine dining evenings to large scale corporate events, weddings and functions for a high profile clientele.  We cater for a truly international clientele who have come to expect the very highest levels of food and service and we aim to exceed expectations every time.

We are looking for a highly talented Head Pastry Chef to join our Food Production team that can lead and build upon the great work that the Pastry team deliver today. You will take pride in everything that you produce and be passionate about creating food from the very best ingredients.

Ashridge House is looking for a Head Pastry Chef with the following experience;

• Ability to lead and manage a talented team
• Past experience within a high profile operation is a plus but not essential
• Be creative and understanding of the new trends in pastry
• Have the flair and passion to design new menus and put your own stamp on our food offering
• Classically trained and exposed to different style of cuisine is desirable
• Past exposure to international operations
• Solid understanding of back of house operations is essential
• Great communicator and passionate about your trade
• Hands on in your approach of leading and developing a team

The successful candidate must be able to work shifts covering a day range of 6am till 1am.  For this reason, it is essential to have your own transport.
