Detailed Job Description

An exciting opportunity to become part of a new, eagerly anticipated, restaurant opening in Westgate on sea. Finbars is a brand new restaurant being built on top of the already successful West Bay Café. It is a family run business and will be serving high quality British cuisine. You will be managed by an experienced restauranteur with a wealth of knowledge within the industry.
Finbars of West Bay have an opportunity for a keen apprentice to join as assistant to head Chef, learning new skills and assisting with day to day running of the kitchen along with working a gain a Level 2 Commis Chef Qualification.
Duties will include:
Preparing fresh local produce, chopping , garnishing .
Presenting and plating the food to a high standard.
Setting up starters and deserts.
Recreating dishes prepared by the Chef.
Assisting with menu plans.
Following procedures and adhering to Health & Hygiene procedures.
Washing up and Making sure kitchen is left clean

Qualifications Required

None required, however, Maths and English will be assessed as part of the interview process.
