We are looking for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Sexy Fish, part of Caprice Holdings.
Based on Berkeley Square, Sexy Fish has a capacity for 190 covers on the ground floor, an extensive bar area and a stunning private dining space on the lower ground floor. The restaurant is vibrant, glamorous with high energy focusing on the finest quality ingredients to create an Asian inspired fish and seafood menu, complimented with a creative and extensive wine list and cocktail list.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will be expected to:

Support the Restaurant Director and General Manager in effectively managing all aspects of the restaurant to achieve the agreed performance targets.

Lead, manage and coach the front of house team to ensure the operation runs smoothly and all revenue opportunities are maximised.

Ensure all customers receive the highest levels of service from all members of the team.

Ensure the team are fully trained in all aspects of the restaurant and each service runs smoothly.

Lead the front of house team by example; adopting a hands-on, can do approach.

Ensure any customer complaints are handled effectively and professionally and all customers leave with a positive dining experience, escalating any complaints to the GM or RD as required.

Work with the BOH Management team to ensure food standards are consistently achieved and service runs smoothly.

Effective communication with the Chefs during service to ensure the service runs smoothly.

Support the General Manager with all back of house administration.

The ideal candidate will:

Currently be an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager within a high quality, dynamic and busy restaurant environment.

Have a real passion for delivering the highest levels of service.

Have a proven track record in developing a team to consistently deliver fantastic service.

Have the ability to motivate a large team and create a strong teamwork ethic.

Have a passion for food and a good understanding of working effectively with senior chefs.

Be a clear and concise communicator with the ability to improve performance.

Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively.

Have a good understanding of health and safety and food safety requirements.

Have a good understanding of how to effectively manage payroll and P&L cost lines to deliver an EBITDA result.
