We are looking for a Sous Chef of significant calibre to join our fantastic team and support our Head Chef in producing exquisite food at King Street Townhouse Hotel.

King Street Townhouse Hotel, features a full-service restaurant and 6 event venues including a designated wine tasting cellar and screening room. Our food offer covers all day dining from breakfast, over lunch and afternoon tea to dinner. We serve all types of formal and informal corporate and leisure events up tp 150 guests and have a strong reputation as wedding venue. Our kitchen works with local ingredients and all meals are freshly prepared in house on daily basis.

Requirements

• Experience working as Senior CDP and / or Sous Chef essential
• Demonstrate passionate for cooking with high quality, fresh ingredients
• Experience of running a kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
• Be up to date on all health and safety and food hygiene guidelines
• Experience of driving consistency in food preparation and service and always pushing for continuous improvements in service
• Experience in managing junior team members and monitoring their progress
• Outstanding communication skills
• Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processe
• A willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills
