Assistant Manager

What you'll be doing:

As anAssistant Catering Manager,you will lead the team to deliver world class food & service for our clients and customers. You will be the motivation and guidance for your team for daily activities and support the manager in daily duties also. You will work with the onsite team and other leaders across our business.

AsAssistant Catering Manageryou will support the catering manager and support others where needed.

This ispredominately Monday to Fridaymay need to work occasional weekend, shift times variable between early and mid shift, fast paced café serving breakfast and lunch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the catering manager in organising and leading the preparation and presentation of all food
  • and hospitality services to the highest of standards and in line with the contract specification
  • Support in recruitment, leading, motivating and managing the team to deliver superior food and service
  • Develop solid and trusted client relationships
  • Drive sales through effective marketing, promotions
  • Assist and support the service within the budget and financial targets when required
  • Manage all aspects of health & safety and food safety
  • Manage food wastage and commitments to Net Zero commitments
Who you are:
About You:
  • Be passionate about exceptional customer service
  • Experience of leading, managing and developing winning teams
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of HSE in food environment
  • Experience in a similar environment (not essential)
