Digital Project Manager

More about the role:
  • Plan, monitor and assist with the delivery of the digital tech-centred project roadmap
  • Assess and size new, and ongoing, project requirements, working with operational teams and the wider company.
  • Create and maintain project plans for the delivery of solutions which are aligned to our strategic roadmap and long-term business needs.
  • Understand the processes and business needs and interact directly with Operations subject matter experts and department heads.
  • Work with mobilisation team to ensure successful mobilisation of units and key technologies
  • Provide direction to operation managers and business units in the delivery and provide support for specific environments
  • Identify, communicate and implement appropriate mitigation for project risks and dependencies.
  • Conduct regular evaluation, of ongoing projects, using agreed targets and service levels
  • Prepare and present regular updates on project proceeding for relevant operational and leadership teams.
  • Bridge and align relevant internal functions within Compass Ireland to deliver all projects [digital and otherwise] in a cohesive manner
  • Set, audit and monitor operational standards across all functions in unit
Who you are:
About You:
  • Minimum 3 years of operational / unit management experience
  • Exceptional IT / Digital skills
  • Strong understanding of tech implementation
  • Project management experience and previous end-to-end tech rollout
  • Have a detailed technological understanding and be comfortable with a variety of platforms as well as newer technologies and development stacks
  • Previous experience in a large company with a diverse customer base and wide service offering Food & Beverage knowledge would be an advantage
  • The ability to multi-task, remain calm under pressure and always maintain a strategic viewpoint
  • Strong communication skills.

As the leading foodservice and hospitality provider across the Island of Ireland, are looking for aDigitalProject Manager to join our talented team on a permanentbasis working 40 hoursper week.

As aDigitalProject Manager,will plan, monitor and assist the delivery of the digital tech-centred project roadmap by working with a variety of stakeholders across the business, such as operational level and mobilisations. You will ensure projects are rolled out, targets are achieved, and a continued high standard is maintained following roll out. As the Digital Project Manager, you will regularly conduct unit training and continually support managers, while also reporting regular updates to the wider business. The Digital project plan is fast moving with some already defined projects, such as Our Time, EPOS, Foodbuy Online, UTD Dashboards, Waste Management / Net Zero. This role This role will report into the Managing Director for Ireland and will require travel across Ireland with some weekend and/or night work also.
