Salary: £25,000 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, usually worked over five days. The post-holder must be able to work flexibly and to be able to cover early starts, late finishes and occasional weekend working, on a rota basis, in support of the needs of the business.

Showroom Workstation is an integrated media arts complex operating a café bar, conference and events facilities, four-screen digital cinema and creative industries managed workspace. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced manager to join our very busy and committed team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for all front facing food and beverage operations including the café bar, conferencing delivery and staffing. The post holder will be expected to deliver agreed standards in customer care and ensure that financial and sales targets are achieved. They will help develop a food and beverage offer which is both appealing and cost effective; ensuring the café bar and creative lounge remain attractive to our diverse audiences.

The post holder will be part of a team working closely with the Cinema Manager, Conference and Events Sales Manager and the Head Chef in developing our offer across the venue and reporting to the Operations Manager. The Bars Manager specifically, will maximise sales opportunities, deliver the highest standard of customer care and achieve organisational efficiencies. They will also work as the designated shift manager on a regular basis to ensure that our license and public safety requirements are fully always achieved and adhered to. Furthermore, they will support and influence our mission to be an inclusive and accessible venue.
