Job Summary:


We are looking for a creative and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and preparing delicious meals, and managing kitchen staff. You should have a passion for cooking and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, be able to create innovative dishes, and have excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and create menus that are innovative, varied, and seasonally appropriate
• Oversee the preparation and cooking of all menu items
• Train and manage kitchen staff in all aspects of food preparation and service
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion sizes to ensure consistency
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Order and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies
• Collaborate with restaurant managers to develop and implement new menu items
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Manage and motivate kitchen staff to ensure high-quality service and productivity
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef or line cook
• In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
• Ability to create and develop new recipes and menu items
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Degree or diploma in culinary arts or related field is preferred
• Valid food handling and safety certification
